If it was possible to get paid to travel, everyone would be doing it. Turns out, it is possible, you simply have to know where to look and how to apply. An online search will lead you to various travel companies offering brand ambassador positions; general requirements include promoting their travel brand via your own social media accounts. Though there are many of these opportunities available, there is one we believe you need to know about now. Currently named as the Best Job on the Planet, if chosen, you could travel the world in Kardashian style.
Accepting Applications
Thirdhome is accepting applications for a dream job that includes staying in luxury homes across the globe. Luxury is an understatement. These vacation homes and resorts are multi-million dollar properties that are located in some of the most desired places to visit in the world. If that isn’t tempting enough to submit an application immediately, the contract also pays $10,000 USD per month and covers all travel expenses. Sounds too good to be true? Well, it is classified as a dream job and not dream vacation. If selected, you would be the luckiest individual ever (aside from lottery winners), but would be required to blog, vlog and share your experiences on social media. Not exactly a deal breaker though.
Socially Savvy
In order to be considered, you must submit a one minute video explaining why you are a great candidate. What would make you the perfect person for the perfect job? For starters, you need to be experienced in social media. This means being able to create a captivating Instagram photo with the right amount of related hashtags in the caption or knowing what filter works best with the scene in your Snapchat story. On top of being social media savvy, you also need to be a wordsmith and have a knack for photography and we are not referring to the camera feature on your smartphone. Thirdhome is a top line company offering exceptional accommodation and therefore, probably expect comparable quality from the international traveler they hire. So, if you believe you are talented in the above areas, then you should not hesitate any further from sending in an application; this job could change your life.
Along with experience, not only in creative expression, but in international travel, you must be over the age of 18, have a valid passport, driver’s license, no criminal record and of course, able to board that plane without fear. Checking off everything on that list, you also need to be flexible to take off and travel for three consecutive months from late summer to late fall. We are certain your friends, family and even boss would be understanding. Who would get in the way of an opportunity of a lifetime? Especially, if they could potentially tag along. That’s right. You are not allowed pets, but you can share the experience with a travel companion of choice (Thirdhome will not cover travel expenses of a companion).
